    ironically this perfectly explains my husband and my business relationship. He’s the visionary that thinks of the possibilities and I’m the one that discerns whether it’s really possible and how to put it into practice. He often gets frustrated that I don’t get excited at every new idea mostly because I am processing it and detailing it out. At times he believes I am being purposely negative but it’s just my nature to think it through before buying in. I can’t wait for him to see that our strengths actually complement one another

    Yelp has recently showed me how corrupt they are. I posted a negative review on a company that I used to work for. No foul language or personal attacks to anyone by name, no personal information given out, and no personal information was given about anyone. 2 months later somebody at the company saw my review and complained about it. Yelp took it down and told me my review was too derogatory. Then when I disagreed with them and reminded that someone else posted a negative review just as bad, they took down that review too. Their answer was that working for the company constituted a "conflict of interest." Total bs. They are protecting business and silencing victims that dare to write a bad review of them. Now why would a company that is supposed to post good and bad reviews take down reviews that are written in proper English that are negative ? There has to be a reason that they would automatically side with a bad business. So what can that motivation be ? Money? Judge for yourself. The bottom line here is Yelp is just as corrupt as the bad businesses they protect. After reading many reviews on many websites of Yelp itself, I was shocked to find out that businesses allegedly pay Yelp to be on their page, and that's how Yelp makes their fortune. That would explain why they are siding with business who are their paid client and removing bad reviews like mine. Yelp doesn't make any money on me, they allegedly make make from the business. So what should be an honest site with good and bad reviews ( like Amazon ), sides with the paying person and removes their bad reviews. Totally corrupt. I have traded emails with their staff, and I'm given one bs line after another as to why my negative review got taken down. Then as an experiment, I posted a very short negative review of the company, and they took that one down too. They flagged my name to delete any bad reviews of the company. One corrupt company sides with another, all for money. So it looks like they are hurting good businesses as well as innocent victims of their bad businesses. They are corrupt all around.

  • @EricGolub-p3y
    @EricGolub-p3y 9 дней назад

    It's just makes sense that a lawyer is defending bad businesses. Lawyers are notorious for being corrupt themselves. So we have bad people defending bad people. We all know that 99% of people don't take the time to write reviews, and 99% of bad reviews are true. That's why business owners don't want bad reviews. They want to hide their abuse and victims.

    Thank you Mam for the video. It really helps me a lot. I have one query that in our organisation we allow employees to enhance their technical skills in their free time. But we specially make time for employees for training programs. I didn't know what and how to organize the training which helps them efficiently?

    • @MatterhornBusinessDevelopment
      @MatterhornBusinessDevelopment 9 дней назад

      I recommend using a software for this. We usually recommend Metapulse for this, because you can keep their training in there but also assign them a statistic to track their production. Another software that does only the training part is Trainual.

    To any naysayers that refute college isn't a scam. If one person has first hand account experience to say they were led to believe in a dream that college sold and it didn't at all pan out in the way it was projected, then that is, in fact, an example of a scam. It may not be true for everyone's experience, but if something unfolds in the form of factual evidence by someone's account then that is indeed fact not slander, and they are absolutely valid in their claims whether you agree with it or not. To add, something I just realized watching this. If you incentivize more people to go, and more people drop out than they graduate, then that still helps accumulate into the college debt. Gives more reason to incentivize for taxes 🙃 like a person applies, attends, and drops out within the same semster that's still a guaranteed semesters worth of debt (which is usually in the $1,000's) with the student/drop out doing all the work. I also agree on being responsible for paying student debts. However, I don't agree with paying the scammer for their scam. I think that's the difference here because you don't reward people who lead you on fraudulently to the point to where you are pinned against the wall in debt if it isn't at all what they sold you on. Yes, pay for your education if you found it was worth the efforts and you were aware of the consequence of choice in your decisions. No, don't pay someone who led you to believe in a certain dream with empty promises that were not guaranteed through your hard earned efforts and perseverance cause when it comes down to it they want your money. Handing them that unjustifiably just perpetuates the problem in that regard as we're paying the, more or less, criminals for hustling someone. That is not at all ok.

    I'm enjoying learning from my discovery of your channel this week. Many thanks, especially for making strategic Pay for myself rather than simply automatically transferring income directly into several accounts, so I have no real idea how much I get paid. I have a question regarding the Profit account. I have been going for 7 years, and I already have accounts for retirement, holidays, and annual leave; I need to see where a Profit account fits in.

    • @MatterhornBusinessDevelopment
      @MatterhornBusinessDevelopment 26 дней назад

      The Profit account is used for a quarterly bonus for you the business owner. It’s supposed to be an extra reward for you, above your normal living expenses. Ideally you are using the quarterly profit distribution for something fun, like a “treat yourself” type of thing. I’ve had clients use it for family vacations, home remodels, buying a boat, investing the money in a real estate property the produces further income. So lots of options!

      Not sure where you got “average business net profit has gone up.” The video doesn’t say “work harder.” It’s saying the employee should perform their expected duties since they are being paid to do so.

    Profit first makes sense especially for small business because you need to secure yourselves. But i still back and forth, because many successful entrepreneur (according to the legend) did not pay them before but after, for example jeff bezos at Amazon was really lean and did not pay himself at the beginning of the journey. Thank

      I totally get what you’re saying. I think it depends on your goals and lifestyle. For example, if you have a family to feed, you probably need to pay yourself. It’s also totally feasible to pay yourself and still have enough money to put into growth. Profit First actually helps you do that easier.

  • @DidierMonot-kc6db

    You need to know your business costs in order to determine how much to pay yourself at no. 2, right?

    I was expecting some insights, but not in the past. Team members can and shall play these metrics, and they shall not reflect actual work done. They rather project risk by members taking short term opportunities that are not aligned with the organisation goals. Your entire team can be undermined by one metrics-manager and one metrics-gamer. If you metrics problems solved or tasks done, the outcome is that more problems are created than needed. And more tasks are incomplete but reported done. Pick one; Time, Quality, Quantity.

    Some employers keep toxic people because that person has been loyal to them, and sometimes this is because that person knows nonone else wants them. You lose good people that way. You talked about low production but gave tardiness and sick kids as examples of that. That's not production. I wouldn't work for you.

So the question should be more systemic "what is this stat sign of" rather than some magical personal performance. Depends on type work of course.

Because of this she’s often booked out months in advance. She could easily charge more but she likes her client base. Since she’s so booked out, I’m sure to keep any appointment I make with her. I’m grateful for her time, so I show up happy to be there. The way I value her service doesn’t just show up in how much money I pay her. It shows up in how I respect her time, how I refer good clients to her, how I promote her in my off time.
